SEC Reporting Manager
Job Summary
Owning the preparation of external SEC filings, the remote SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager will manage compliance with SEC and GAAP requirements, lead research on complex accounting matters, and collaborate with various departments to ensure timely disclosures.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review SEC filings, financial statements, and related disclosures
- Research and draft technical accounting memos on complex transactions
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors during audits and reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license preferred
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and SEC reporting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Prior experience at a publicly traded company strongly preferred
