Job Summary

Supporting a high visibility U.S. Navy prototype initiative, the fully remote CANES Technical Writer (Secret Cleared) will develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with Navy standards for both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the prototype lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, organize, and maintain all technical documentation throughout the prototype lifecycle
• Translate complex technical inputs into concise, actionable documentation for diverse audiences
• Ensure all written materials align with Navy and CANES documentation standards and formatting requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5-8 years of experience in technical writing within a technical, engineering, Navy, or federal environment
• Navy or CANES program experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience developing and editing user manuals, SOPs, and system documentation
• Active Secret Clearance
