Secret Licensed Software Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Serving as a hands-on architect and integrator, the full-time Distinguished Software Engineering Lead will manage the design and development of secure, scalable software and data platforms while mentoring teams and ensuring alignment with long-term innovation goals in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure, distributed platforms and integrate APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for interoperability across systems
• Engineer cloud-native solutions and implement Infrastructure-as-Code to automate provisioning and compliance workflows
• Lead the transition of software from prototype to production, establishing automated testing and performance monitoring standards

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred)
• 10-15 years of progressive software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or architecture role
• Proven success architecting and deploying secure, distributed, cloud-native software platforms
• Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation
