Section 508 Accessibility Analyst
Job Summary
Evaluating the accessibility of customer websites and mobile applications, the remote Section 508 Accessibility Analyst will conduct testing, document findings, and provide recommendations while remediating electronic documents on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform automated and manual accessibility tests on various digital platforms and documents
- Document and report findings, providing detailed accessibility analyses and recommendations
- Stay current with accessibility guidelines and maintain competency with assistive technologies
Required qualifications:
- Department of Homeland Security Trusted Tester 5.0 certification (required)
- 1+ years of experience in automated and manual accessibility testing
- Proficiency in web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Experience using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and Talkback
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred)
