Job Summary
Ensuring digital content meets federal accessibility standards, the full-time Section 508 Document Remediation Specialist will review and remediate various document types for compliance while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and remediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, web, and multimedia content for Section 508 compliance
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing, including assistive technology checks
- Prepare accessibility findings, remediation logs, and compliance documentation
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of Section 508 accessibility remediation experience
- Proficiency remediating PDF and Microsoft 365 documents
- Knowledge of federal accessibility requirements and WCAG Level AA success criteria
- Experience with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies
- High School Diploma or GED
