Job Summary
Monitoring and reporting on loans secured with marketable securities, the full-time Secured Credit Monitoring Officer will assist the Secured Credit Manager with compliance and reporting functions while working remotely within the Bank's footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate marketable securities pledged as loan collateral to assess adequacy and compliance with credit policy
- Analyze fluctuations in collateral value and recommend actions to mitigate risk, including margin calls and additional collateral
- Communicate risk insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, influencing decision-making
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years' related experience in Commercial Lending Operations
- Above average understanding of commercial lending operations, procedures, and loan documentation
- Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and credit policies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with Capital Stream and IBS
- Experience with report generation and creation in BIC preferred
