Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Secured Credit Monitoring Officer will monitor and report on loans secured with marketable securities, assist with compliance and reporting functions, and serve as a secondary point of contact for the department.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate marketable securities pledged as loan collateral to assess adequacy and compliance with credit policy
- Analyze fluctuations in collateral value and recommend actions to mitigate risk
- Communicate risk insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years' related experience in Commercial Lending Operations
- Above average understanding of commercial lending operations and loan documentation
- Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and credit policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and familiarity with relevant banking software
- Experience with report generation and creation in BIC preferred
