Job Summary
Working remotely full-time, the Secured Credit Monitoring Officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on loans secured with marketable securities, assisting the Secured Credit Manager with compliance and reporting functions, and serving as a secondary point of contact for the department.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate marketable securities pledged as loan collateral to assess adequacy and compliance with credit policy
- Analyze fluctuations in collateral value and recommend actions to mitigate risk, including margin calls and additional collateral
- Provide consultative guidance to bankers regarding collateral sufficiency and interpret complex credit policies
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Commercial Lending Operations
- Above average understanding of commercial lending operations and loan documentation
- Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and credit policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Capital Stream and IBS
- Experience with report generation and vendor platforms such as Archer and SharePoint is preferred
