Securities Finance Trader

Job Summary

Identifying and executing borrow and loan opportunities across various asset classes, the full-time remote Securities Finance Trader will leverage Python and SQL to optimize trading strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Execute borrow and loan opportunities using manual and automated trading strategies across asset classes
• Develop analytical tools and automate data-driven decisions using Python and SQL
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize trading systems and manage risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• 1-5 years of experience in a technical or trading role, with exposure to securities lending or related fields
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with core financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, and ETFs
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high initiative to learn about advanced trading concepts
