Securities Law Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal counsel and advice, the full-time Lead Counsel - Securities Law will focus on securities law compliance, corporate governance, and legal support for SEC filings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on securities, corporate governance, and corporate law matters
• Support the Board of Directors and Board Committees, including meeting preparation and annual stockholder meetings
• Write, review, and advise on legal contracts and agreements

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the bar
• At least twelve (12) years of experience as an attorney, with a minimum of six (6) years in securities law compliance
• Strong background in Securities Exchange Act of 1934 reporting and stock exchange listing standards
