Security Administrator

Job Summary

The full-time remote Security Administrator will manage vulnerability remediation workflows, monitor and tune the SIEM, and oversee identity and access management, ensuring AegisAI's environment remains secure while collaborating closely with the security engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Run vulnerability management workflows, track findings, and coordinate fixes with engineering
• Monitor and triage alerts in the SIEM, tuning detections to reduce noise and enhance effectiveness
• Administer identity and access management, including hardening the identity stack and conducting access reviews

Required qualifications

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
• Solid understanding of cloud and identity fundamentals, including SSO and MFA
• Demonstrated interest in security through certifications, coursework, or relevant projects
• Ability to learn new tools independently and communicate effectively in writing
• Experience with MDM and familiarity with vulnerability management and patch management tools is a plus
