Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst to join their Managed Services team in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess security alerts to determine threat severity and scope
• Conduct initial incident response actions and escalate confirmed incidents as needed
• Stay updated on emerging threats and communicate findings to clients in non-technical language

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level case management tools
• Experience with SIEM platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
• Familiarity with Windows security event IDs and basic networking protocols
• Proactive and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment
