Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Center (SOC).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events, performing initial triage and escalation of potential incidents
• Investigate endpoint alerts and execute interactive playbooks for incident response
• Maintain documentation of incidents and contribute to the development of SOC procedures

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a security operations, SOC, or IT security role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and familiarity with KQL for log queries
• Foundational knowledge of Azure and understanding of cloud security concepts
• Understanding of common attack vectors and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
