Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst who responds to and triages security alerts, investigates incidents, and supports security process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an Incident Response team member, responding to alerts during and after business hours
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and analyze malicious emails using security tools
• Document findings and collaborate with technology teams to remediate security vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science & Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least three years of experience in technical security-related work
• Strong experience in Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Knowledge of network security controls, protocols, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with compliance environments such as HIPAA and SOC 2
