Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst to support the security and compliance of IT systems for government operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes by maintaining security documentation and conducting risk assessments
• Perform continuous monitoring and vulnerability management using relevant tools and ensure compliance with NIST RMF and FEDRAMP
• Coordinate annual ATO-related exercises and provide security analysis for various VA Corporate Service Line systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience in a security analyst or similar role supporting government IT systems
• Expertise in federal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools like Service Now (SNOW) and eMASS
