Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Analyst will manage and triage vulnerability cases, perform technical assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security risk reduction programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and triage incoming vulnerability cases, including CVE notifications and cloud vulnerabilities
• Perform technical assessments of vulnerabilities and support engineering teams with remediation strategies
• Monitor vendor advisories and threat intelligence sources to assess potential impact and drive risk exception processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information security, risk management, or cybersecurity within a technology-driven environment
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and networking
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and managing vulnerability lifecycle processes
• Knowledge of common security risks, including OWASP Top 10 and cloud vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation for security workflows
