Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the full-time Security Analyst will monitor and analyze security events, investigate suspicious activities, and support incident response efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise networks and systems for malicious activity and analyze security events
• Proactively hunt for indicators of compromise and support incident response and remediation efforts
• Develop and maintain SOC documentation and contribute to post-incident reviews for process improvement

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT, with at least 1 year in a Security Analyst role
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat detection
• Experience with security monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk or QRadar
• Understanding of common attack vectors and threat actor behaviors
