Security Analyst

Job Summary

As part of a 6-month contract, the full-time remote Security Analyst will detect, investigate, and respond to threats across core infrastructure and technology environments, ensuring compliance and enhancing the overall security posture while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor logs, alerts, and telemetry to identify abnormal behavior and potential threats
• Conduct in-depth security analysis and investigations to assess risks and determine impacts
• Coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, mitigation, recovery, and post-incident reviews

Required qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity with knowledge of modern threat landscapes
• Hands-on experience with IT security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
• Relevant technical certifications in cybersecurity
• Experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to drive problem-solving and navigate complex technical challenges independently
