Security Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Security Analyst contractor for a 3-month remote project, who will manage rapid incident response, collaborate across teams for coordinated security measures, and analyze security alerts while delivering concise reports.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly assess, isolate, and mitigate security threats during incidents
• Collaborate with IT and leadership to ensure a coordinated security response
• Analyze security alerts and perform advanced threat hunting and incident investigations

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Defender XDR for threat detection and response
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and related identity security measures
• Familiarity with Varonis for data security and insider threat detection
• Knowledge of Google Admin Console for phishing and email security investigations
• Understanding of security log analysis and SIEM investigations
