Security Analyst

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day analytical and coordination workload, the full-time remote Security Analyst will monitor security alerts, conduct incident triage, and coordinate vulnerability management activities to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive healthcare information.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts and potential data exposure events across various environments
• Conduct initial incident triage and investigation, documenting findings and coordinating escalation and remediation activities
• Support identity governance activities and validate security control coverage and effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in security operations, systems administration, or similar technology environments
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident triage, and vulnerability management
• Working knowledge of HIPAA-related security and privacy expectations
• Preferred certifications in security, cloud, or incident response (e.g., Security+, CySA+, AZ-500, or GCIH)
