Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Analyst will focus on analyzing large datasets to identify data risks and anomalies, leveraging expertise in SIEM investigations, cloud security, and automation skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep analysis of complex datasets to identify risks and anomalies in cloud and enterprise environments
• Perform SIEM investigations, including dashboarding, detection tuning, and risk reporting, primarily using Splunk
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and data pipelines to enhance risk identification processes

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in security and data analysis
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation tasks
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including IAM and cloud logging
• Experience applying security frameworks such as NIST CSF and NIST AI RMF
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CCSP are strongly preferred
