Security Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Information Security program, the contract Security Analyst will enhance the organization's security posture through security reviews, vulnerability management, and incident response activities while working remotely for a duration of 3-4 months.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily security operations activities across various environments and assist with incident response and investigations
• Perform initial reviews of firewall requests and network security modifications, documenting findings for senior staff review
• Assist with vulnerability management activities, including identification, remediation coordination, and reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or related technical disciplines
• Familiarity with firewall technologies and networking fundamentals
• Understanding of vulnerability management concepts and data protection initiatives
• Experience with security technologies such as Microsoft Defender and Power BI is preferred
