Security Analyst

Job Summary

Performing day-to-day security monitoring and response activities, the full-time remote Security Analyst will manage incident response, threat intelligence, and forensic analysis while supporting the operation and administration of detection technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct front line monitoring and response for security events, including triage, remediation, and recovery
• Execute proactive and reactive incident response lifecycle activities, from detection to reporting
• Assist in the selection, deployment, and maintenance of security event detection technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of Information Technology experience, with 2+ years in Information Security
• Experience in vulnerability testing/management preferred
• Relevant security knowledge in incident response, malware analysis, or security operations
• Working knowledge of enterprise security detection technologies and network protocols
