Security Analyst

Job Summary

To strengthen and mature its enterprise cybersecurity program, the full-time Security Analyst will monitor and enhance Microsoft security technologies, lead incident detection and response, and manage vulnerability efforts, primarily working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs across Microsoft security platforms to identify and respond to potential threats
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Defender security controls across enterprise environments
• Conduct forensic investigations and post-incident reviews to improve security controls and reduce future risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Strong experience in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of endpoint security controls and security operations best practices
• Experience conducting forensic investigations and security incident remediation
