Security Analyst

Job Summary

Managing security event monitoring and incident response ticket queues, the full-time Security Analyst will ensure timely triage of incidents, translate cybersecurity concepts for clients, and utilize detection tools to investigate potential threats in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security event monitoring and incident response ticket queues to meet service level agreements
• Analyze system, security, and application logs to diagnose faults and identify abnormal behavior
• Develop and deliver reports on security information and metrics to clients and management

Required qualifications

• Two years of work experience in Information Security or related fields
• One of the following certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA, C|EH, SSCP, or equivalent
• Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response platforms
• One year or more of experience with EDR solutions, vulnerability management, and content filtering
• Strong commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
