Security Analyst I

Job Summary

Supporting day-to-day security operations, the full-time remote Security Analyst I will manage security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management while contributing to security engineering initiatives during a one-year maternity leave coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the deployment and maintenance of security technologies, including SIEM and EDR
• Investigate and triage security events, responding to incidents and documenting findings
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling for internal projects and vendors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology Management, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, or Security Operations
• At least one industry-recognized security certification (CISSP, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent)
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of securing cloud environments, operating systems, and networks
