Job Summary
Supporting day-to-day security operations, the full-time remote Security Analyst I will manage security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management while contributing to foundational security engineering initiatives during a one-year maternity leave coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the deployment and maintenance of security technologies and lead small-to-medium-sized security initiatives
- Investigate and triage security events, responding to incidents and documenting findings for continuous improvement
- Conduct security risk assessments and perform vulnerability management, including application security testing and threat modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technology Management, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, or Security Operations
- At least one industry-recognized security certification (CISSP, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent)
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with security technologies including SIEM, WAF, DLP, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
