Security Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst II to enhance cybersecurity measures and protect critical systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous monitoring of security alerts and incidents while facilitating automation/orchestration
• Employ advanced threat hunting techniques to identify and neutralize potential security risks
• Perform as the first line of incident management and response for the Security team

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of directly related experience
• Experience with security platforms like Rapid7, CrowdStrike, and Proofpoint
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CCSP are a plus but not required
• Expert understanding of Operating Systems including Linux and Windows
