Security Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Analyst II to enhance its security posture by protecting systems and sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

• Own cloud security incident response and ensure effective handling of security incidents
• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security tools and conduct vulnerability assessments
• Develop and maintain security policies, collaborate with IT teams, and provide guidance to junior analysts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in information security or a related field
• Strong understanding of security principles and experience with security tools such as SIEM and firewalls
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
