Security and Compliance Advisor

Job Summary

As a founding member of the service delivery team, the full-time remote Security and Compliance Advisor will provide expert guidance to clients in finance, technology, and biotech, translating complex security and compliance requirements into actionable plans while enhancing client experiences and building Outpost's service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor for security and compliance, focusing on finance firms and select technology clients
• Lead client consultations on governance, risk management, secure AI adoption, and compliance readiness
• Develop and improve Outpost's service delivery playbooks and documentation to enhance client engagement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security, compliance, or a related client-facing role
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and GDPR
• Experience advising executives on security and compliance decisions
• Familiarity with AI tools and their secure adoption in business processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
