Security and Identity Engineer
Job Summary
To support an external software development organization, the remote Security and Identity Engineer will build and operate AI capabilities across an enterprise platform, focusing on production quality controls, model routing, and performance evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement AI workflows, including agent runtimes and orchestration, to deliver reliable production systems
- Monitor and evaluate AI behavior, ensuring systems are improved based on evidence and performance metrics
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to determine the appropriate use of AI solutions in client projects
Required qualifications
- Experience shipping software backed by LLMs, ML models, or agentic workflows to production users
- Strong understanding of RAG, prompt design, and evaluation approaches for AI systems
- Proficiency in building evaluation harnesses and measurable AI performance frameworks
- Ability to prioritize cost, latency, reliability, and safety as key engineering constraints
- Strong software engineering skills with a collaborative mindset for client-facing environments
