Security Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Application Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor infrastructure and applications for threats and vulnerabilities
• Own and evolve security architecture across GCP and GKE, focusing on compliance with control frameworks
• Develop response playbooks and lead incident response efforts while conducting penetration testing and security audits

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Strong knowledge of modern DevSecOps principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2)
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform, GCP, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Experience with SIEM platforms and runtime threat detection
• Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD security pipelines and cloud auth systems
