Security Architect Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Security Architect Consultant will support large IT environments by managing security systems, developing automation tools, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop security automations, scripts, and custom tools using Python and other programming languages
• Support and troubleshoot various cybersecurity technologies, systems, and integrations across applications and networks
• Contribute to enterprise security architecture and incident response efforts while ensuring compliance with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in supporting large IT environments and security systems
• Hands-on experience with multiple cybersecurity technologies and operational functions
• Proficiency in developing automation and response workflows using Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and incident response processes
