Job Summary
A company is looking for a Security Architect/Engineer to design and implement secure enterprise architectures for a modernized Department of Defense information system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure system architectures across multiple IL environments in compliance with DoD and NIST standards
- Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Implement Zero Trust principles and support RMF accreditation artifacts for continuous monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or secure system design for federal or defense environments
- Experience developing security architectures in AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5
- Deep understanding of DoDI 8510.01 (RMF) and NIST compliance frameworks
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are preferred
