Security Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Associate to join their Information Security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts and perform triage operations to determine required responses
• Monitor and analyze systems using cyber defense tools to identify malicious activity
• Analyze malicious activity to assess weaknesses and methods of exploitation

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of the CIA triad and its importance
• Working knowledge of ports and protocols
• Knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Basic understanding of endpoint detection and response tools
