Security Certification Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Security Certification Engineer for a fully remote position, responsible for validating Common Criteria and FIPS 140-3 certifications for government products, with a focus on mobile devices and documentation writing.

Key responsibilities

• Validate Common Criteria Certification and FIPS 140-3 for government-related products
• Write specifications and documentation related to certification processes
• Collaborate with labs to ensure compliance with cryptographic module validations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Common Criteria evaluations and FIPS 140-3 validation
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Proficient in FIPS 186-4/5, SP 800-186, SP 800-90B, and cryptographic protocols
• Experience with mobile device certification and knowledge of Android is highly desired
• Understanding of common security protocols such as SSH, IPsec, and TLS
