Job Summary
Supporting DHS enterprise IT systems, the full-time Security Compliance Architect will ensure security, compliance, and architecture alignment across cloud and on-premises environments while leading RMF activities and developing authorization artifacts remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in designing and developing secure enterprise IT systems and architecture solutions
- Develop and manage security authorization artifacts, including Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
- Execute RMF activities to ensure compliance with DHS processes and cybersecurity standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in IT architecture or cybersecurity compliance
- Strong experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system authorization processes
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST standards, and DHS cybersecurity policies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; an active Public Trust or DHS suitability is preferred
