Security Compliance Technical Writer
Job Summary
To support a leading cybersecurity and networking technology organization, the long-term contract Security Compliance Technical Writer will develop certification and compliance documentation, conduct regulatory research, and collaborate with engineering teams, working remotely during EST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development, review, and maintenance of certification documentation, including Security Targets and compliance reports
- Research Common Criteria and EUCC standards while ensuring documentation clarity and compliance
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather technical information and create documentation standards
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of technical writing experience in technology, cybersecurity, networking, or compliance environments
- Strong documentation, editing, and research skills
- Familiarity with Common Criteria (CC) and EU Common Criteria (EUCC) frameworks
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, audit-ready documentation
- Working knowledge of networking technologies, including security and cloud environments
