Security Compliance Technical Writer
Job Summary
To support a leading cybersecurity and networking technology organization, the long-term contract Security Compliance Technical Writer will develop certification and compliance documentation, conduct regulatory research, and collaborate with engineering teams while working remotely in EST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development, review, and maintenance of certification documentation, including Security Targets and compliance reports
- Research Common Criteria and EUCC standards, along with evolving government security requirements
- Edit complex technical content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance while creating templates to enhance certification workflows
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of technical writing experience in a technology, cybersecurity, networking, or compliance environment
- Familiarity with Common Criteria (CC) and EU Common Criteria (EUCC) frameworks
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, audit-ready documentation
- Working knowledge of networking technologies, including security, routing/switching, cloud, and datacenter environments
- Experience with Cisco technologies and knowledge of CCNA or CCNP is preferred
