Security & Compliance VP

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of enterprise security posture, the full-time remote VP of Security & Compliance will manage a team of security professionals, overseeing security strategy, AI governance, and compliance initiatives while collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define Dynata's enterprise security strategy, establishing a Zero Trust architecture and overseeing incident response programs
• Build and manage AI security governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with emerging regulations and embedding security in AI/ML product development
• Oversee compliance certifications and audits, managing third-party risk and collaborating with legal and finance teams on security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; graduate degree desirable
• 15 years of progressive experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Proven track record in building security programs within highly regulated environments such as banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML security, cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and managing compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• CISSP certification preferred; other relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, or AI security certifications valued
