Security Consultant, SOAR
Job Summary
To support a growing Cyber Defense Center, the full-time Security Consultant, SOAR will manage automation strategies, advise on incident response technologies, and create SOAR playbooks while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote eligible environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify issues in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate strategies for improvement
- Advise on technologies used by the client CDC, CSIRT, and SOC
- Create and modify SOAR playbooks using Python to enhance incident response capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3 years of experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies
- 3 years of experience working with SOC/CSIRT or incident response teams
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
- Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Python
