Security Consultant (vCISO)

Job Summary

Serving as a trusted advisor to executive teams, the full-time remote Security Consultant (vCISO) will develop enterprise security strategies, lead incident response planning, and build resilient security programs for client organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise security strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks
• Translate technical risk into business and financial impact for executive and board-level audiences
• Conduct risk assessments and maturity evaluations aligned to NIST, CIS, ISO, and other frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity or IT experience
• 5+ years in a leadership or executive-level security role
• Proven experience leading security programs or advising senior leadership
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent senior-level certification
