Security Control Assessor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Control Assessor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent assessments of security controls for IT systems to evaluate their effectiveness
• Plan and execute security authorization reviews and develop assurance cases for system installations
• Identify security gaps and recommend actions for risk mitigation in security architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements
• Understanding of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities
• Experience with cybersecurity policy and risk management
• Certifications such as SCA and CISA are a plus
