Security Control Assessor
Job Summary
Leading security control assessments for high-priority projects, the full-time Security Control Assessor will evaluate security controls for AI technologies in a hybrid/remote role while establishing frameworks for rapid deployment and ensuring compliance across AWS cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute formal SCA/R duties and lead security assessment efforts
- Evaluate technical control effectiveness across AWS cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for custom offensive tooling and maintain communication with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Current DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II or Level III certification
- 5-7+ years of experience in security control assessments for DoD or federal information systems
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and security controls in cloud-native environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF artifacts
