Security Controls Assessor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Controls Assessor / OSCAL (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent security control compliance assessments using NIST guidelines
• Utilize OSCAL for assessment automation in both U.S. Government and Commercial environments
• Develop Security Assessment Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Actions and Milestones

Required Qualifications

• Proven OSCAL experience of at least two years
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security controls assessment
• Experience with RegScale, Paramify, or similar tools
• Experience in government, public sector, or municipal IT environments
• Full U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass an extensive background check
