Security Customer Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing customer base in Spain, the full-time salaried Security Customer Engineer will engage with clients to develop technical account strategies, demonstrate the value of Google Cloud Platform, and drive security initiatives while working remotely or from the Madrid office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy while supporting targeted sales motions
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud Platform through demos and workshops
• Facilitate post-sales transitions and maintain awareness of the delivery plan, supporting cross-functional teams during implementation phases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
• 5 years of experience in security within a customer-facing or technical sales engineering role
• Fluency in English and Spanish to support client relationship management
• Experience in cybersecurity matters, including threat detection and cloud security posture management
