Security Detection & Response Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time remote Security Detection & Response Manager will manage engineers, enhance security operations, and drive technical systems for detection engineering and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve end-to-end detection, investigation, response, and threat intelligence processes
• Define and evolve security observability and detection strategies, including automation and AI integration
• Build and lead a remote Security Detection & Response team, fostering collaboration and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Detection & Response or related fields
• 2+ years of people management experience in a remote environment
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and security investigations
• Proficiency in Python for automation and internal tooling
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and security telemetry; familiarity with tools like Google Workspace and Okta is preferred
