Security Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Security Director, the ideal candidate will manage and enhance the security posture of the organization, focusing on infrastructure and application security while navigating high-pressure situations and fostering a strong security culture within the engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the security roadmap, establishing priorities across various security domains
• Drive improvements in detection, prevention, and response capabilities while enhancing security education company-wide
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering leadership to influence architecture and security decisions

Required qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in both infrastructure and application security
• Experience managing real-world security incidents and navigating high-pressure situations
• Strong understanding of supply chain security, secure software development, and identity/access management
• Proven ability to recruit and build a strong security organization
• Familiarity with AWS, distributed systems, and fintech or mobile environments is a plus
