Security & Endpoint Engineer

Job Summary

To support strategic security initiatives, the full-time remote Security & Endpoint Engineer will implement enterprise-wide browser and extension security controls, evaluate security tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Dropbox's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and perform proof-of-concept testing for browser extension security platforms and implement monitoring capabilities
• Support enterprise endpoint security initiatives across macOS, Windows, and Linux, including vulnerability remediation and compliance activities
• Develop automation and scripts to improve security operations and integrate security tools with enterprise platforms

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Security Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, or related fields
• Strong understanding of endpoint security principles and experience with browser security and extension governance
• Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments at scale
• Proficient scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or similar solutions
