Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance enterprise security monitoring and incident response operations, the full-time Security Engineer will work remotely, supporting the engineering, implementation, and optimization of security technologies and automation capabilities while collaborating with SOC analysts and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of SOC security platforms, including SIEM and EDR
• Configure and maintain telemetry integrations to ensure enterprise visibility across various platforms
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and alerts to improve threat detection capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security monitoring technologies, including SIEM and EDR
• Experience in creating and maintaining detection content and alerting logic
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Critical Security Controls
